Adobe Plugged In Feature
See the GLU Platform featured in the current issue of Adobe Plugged In: The Innovation Issue, Spring 2009 titled: "Innovate, create and cash up" # Flash CMS, Flash SaaS
Flash Platform SaaS, Cloud Computing
Having the opportunity to be featured in Adobe's Plugged In newsletter several years back it was great to have the opportunity to have the GLU Platform featured in this current issue's Creative section.
The article, titled "Time is money in the development game" discusses the serious returns on investment that designers, developers and digital agencies can achieve by utilising the GLU Platform within their rich media production workflow.
What makes GLU unique in the marketplace is that it covers 5 key areas, (i) a downloadable rich media component suite, (ii) a flexible development framework, (iii) project collaboration features, (iv) pre-integrated web services and (v) all centrally managed under an online management system.
The GLU Platform takes Flash Platform development to the next level, enabling development time savings of over 50% for many standard content managed projects by providing a comprehensive end-to-end solution.
Unlike most other Flash CMS solutions the GLU Platform is based on a component architecture, making it significantly more flexible than template based products, and an ActionScript 3.0 API enables quick integration and the ability to leverage powerful web services.
Recently Saatchi & Saatchi leveraged the GLU Platform to power Cadbury Dairy Milk Glass and a Half Full Productions Eyebrow Me! campaign, utilising its User Generated Content ("UGC"), Moderation and Content Delivery features through Flash components.
